Ackers Lake Backpacking Trip

This event is reserved for Black, Indigenous and People for Color.

Ackers Lake is a beautiful 10 mile backpacking trip which passes by over a dozen lakes. The cool lakes paired with the mild elevation gain makes this loop the chillest backpacking trip. (Get it? Chillest?!) The majority of this backpacking trip will consist of enjoying yourself by different lakes. Our backpack will take us from Blue Lake the first night on a 2 mile trek to Bear Lake the second night. Bring your hammock and just enjoy being in nature with your community. Dip your feet and go for a swim or take a hike around the lake to take in the scenic views.
