Our adventure leaders support the majority of Wild Diversity's programing. They lead single day and multi day adventures on land and on water. Our Leadership Development Program focuses on developing outdoorists and community members into outdoor leaders, regardless of the level of previous leadership or outdoor experience, through a combination of workshops, field training, feedback and growth. Our Leadership Development Training program is for People of Color and/or people in the LGBTQ community.
Filled for 2021
Our Youth Ecology program will support young people in their discovery of nature, foster a personal connection to the outdoors and create a foundation for future stewards. We are activating youth's sense of wonder for natural spaces and its ecology. Youth will develop their own strategies to take care of this planet and identify ways to become better stewards.

2020-2021 Wild X Project
The Wild X Project is wrapping up for the schools year. It is a full-time, free educational program for students of color K-2 to have hands-on outdoor learning opportunities to counter the challenges of virtual education. Students learn practical skills paired with regular school lessons to meet Common Core requirements.
Adult Adventures are our small group outdoor adventures to provide the BIPOC & LGBTQ community access to safe and welcoming outdoor experiences. Our group adventures include single day and multi day adventures on land and water.
Our BIPOC-centered swimming program builds our community's relationship with water while building comfort and confidence. Our culturally sensitive approach is to first support healing in participants relationship to water, then build comfort & enjoyment, and finally build swimming ability.
Join us for summer of 2021 programing.
Success in solving environmental problems is dependent on an inclusive, robust community being a part of the solutions. Our program supports current and new BIPOC conservationists in creating conservation initiatives that are community-centered while building thoughtful connections in wild spaces.
