Day Hikes Are The Best

Let's Hit the Trails!

We have many hikes that you can join this summer. We are hosting weekend and weekday hikes- giving you plenty of avenues to get outside. Weekday hikes are in town usually at Forest Park, making it easy for you to jump on the trail after work. We carpool for our weekend hikes too so you can meet us in NE Portland for group fun.

Who are our hikes for?
It can be confusing so let us break it down for you. Like all of our events, our hikes are reserved for People of Color and people in the LGBTQ community. So that is all Black, Indigenous and People of Color regardless or sexual orientation or gender identity AND all LGBTQ folx regardless of ethnicity. The only exceptions are our POC Hikes. This summer have more hikes reserved just for People of Color. All of Wild Diversity spaces are a welcoming space for BIPOC & LGBTQ folx, so if you are beautifully in the intersection on both join us on the hike that feels right for you.

Follow the links below to the FB event page for more information on any specific hike. Click the 'Sign Up' button on this page once you've found a hike that you'd like to join.

August 3, Sat 9 AM - Falls Creek Falls for People of Color
August 17, Sat 9 AM - Lewis River Falls Hike

Let us know you are coming by signing up. All of our hikes are free and donations to Wild Diversity are always welcomed. If you sign up, show up so we are wont have to delay our hike for a no-show folx. If you cannot make it, just let us know and join us when you can.
