Hoh Rainforest Backpacking Trip

Hoh Rainforest in Olympic National Park

This event is reserved for Black, Indigenous, People for Color and reserved for LGBTQ folx.

This end of summer backpacking trip will be one to remember. We are heading out to a beautiful temperate Hoh Rainforest about 4.5 hours from Portland. We will hike through a blanket of mosses and ferns that add another layer to the enchantment of this rainforest. This trail along the Hoh River goes through a lush, green canopy of both coniferous and deciduous species. If we are lucky we will get to hear the northern spotted owl sing us to sleep at night or glimpse a herd of Roosevelt elk crossing the river. This bucket list backpacking trip will average five miles a day and spectacular views of the Hoh and Quinault Peoples native land. Come experience the beauty of Olympic National Park with us!
