Our Programs
Adventure Guide Development
Our Adventure Guide Development focuses on developing outdoorists and community members into outdoor leaders, regardless of the level of previous leadership or outdoor experience, through a combination of workshops, field training, feedback, and growth.
Youth Summer Camp
Our Youth Summer Camp supports youth in their discovery of nature, fostering a personal connection to the outdoors and creates a foundation for future stewards. We are activating youth’s sense of wonder for natural spaces and ecology. Youth will develop their own strategies to take care of this planet and identify ways to become better stewards.
Group Adventures
Our Group Adventures provide the BIPOC & LGBTQ2S+ community access to safe and welcoming outdoor experiences. These adventures support individuals and families that are new to the outdoors as well as those seeking community in adventure. Our group adventures include day trips; themed and family campouts; backpacks; single and multiday kayaking trips. Feeling nervous about embarking on a group adventure? Check out our tips below on What to Expect.
BIPOC Swimming Program
Our swimming program builds our community’s relationship with water while building comfort and confidence. Our culturally sensitive approach is to first support healing in participants’ relationship to water, then to build comfort and enjoyment, and finally to build swimming ability.
BIPOC Conservation Program
Success in solving environmental problems is dependent on an inclusive, robust, community being a part of the solutions. Our program supports current and new BIPOC conservationists in creating conservation initiatives that are community-centered while building thoughtful connections in wild spaces.
Community Workshops
These workshops really meet our community where they are at. More than just hosting events, these workshops are just the basics. They range from helping folks learn to swim, build a fire, or get comfortable in a kayak. These workshops can be found individually or as a series.
Adventure Media
Our media program is an outdoor exploration video series geared towards BIPOC youth and families. It includes videos that elevate the unique stories and experiences of our community members and their love of nature. Our program is captured, hosted and produced by youth as they lean into conservation, outdoor skills, ecosystems, and adventures.
